How do I go about selling items at your auction?

To sell an item/items you complete a consignor sheet receive a consignor number. On the day of auction the merchandise will be sold. Then you can collect your sales minus the commission fees the following week.

What are your commission rates?

Commission rates:

35% items hammered for under 500.00

25% items sold at 501.00 and over

15% for gold/cars/guns/coins

What is a buyers premium and how much is it?

Buyer's premium. In auctions, the buyer's premium is a charge in addition to the hammer price (i.e. the winning bid announced) of an auction item, or lot. The winning bidder is required to pay both the hammer price and the percentage of that price called for by the buyer's premium

Here at D&L Auction Barn we have a 13% buyer’s premium with a 3% discount if paying cash

What happens if my stuff does not sell?

If your items do not sell they will be thrown away after the auction and a trash bill be charged. You may make arrangements with the owner to come pick your trash up if you would like to be sure you do not get a trash fee. We do ask that if you buy an item please take what you buy.
